Use Face Recognition to log into Macbook

The most recent replies to this topic were in 2017, 8 years ago. At that time MacBook was not able. How about now?

Only Touch ID is available in all current MacBook models.

Log in picture arbitrarily replaced with my face. I had chosen a butterfly for my log in picture. Today my face appeared instead. I do not want to see my face. I want my butterfly back. I went to Admin and Suggestions only offered a damselfly. I am using the damselfly under protest. I have an old Intel 2017 MacBook Pro that runs Ventura 13.6.7. Processor: 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5. I would appreciate any instructions for retrieving the butterfly and whether I did something that made this change happen.
