Log in picture arbitrarily replaced with my face.

I had chosen a butterfly for my log in picture. Today my face appeared instead. I do not want to see my face. I want my butterfly back. I went to Admin and Suggestions only offered a damselfly. I am using the damselfly under protest.

I have an old Intel 2017 MacBook Pro that runs Ventura 13.6.7. Processor: 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5.

I would appreciate any instructions for retrieving the butterfly and whether I did something that made this change happen.

What image does your home card in Contacts show? If it's your face replace it with the butterfly and reboot. I believe that should do the trick.

When you are logged in to iCloud, your user account image is the same as that on your iCloud account.

Assuming you don't want to disconnect from iCloud, you'd have to make the butterfly your image in iCloud too.

I believe the butterfly was Apple's—no longer in suggestions. I want to keep my face in Contacts, just not on the log in screen. Even worse, the damselfly is pixelly!
