Issue with Apple Card Promotion Credit Due to Time Zone Difference

I applied for the Apple Card before the promotion deadline, based on my local time zone (Western Time). However, I was denied the promotional credit because Goldman Sachs counts the deadline in Eastern Time. The terms didn’t clearly state this, and I believe this is unfair. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any advice on how to resolve it?

I get the grief, but it’s not going to lead to a successful resolution for you.

A couple of things to understand. Your Apple Card is issued and serviced by Goldman Sachs Bank. GS is a federally regulated bank. Apple is not a bank and cannot impose their will on GS.

Do, you have the case number for your dispute? If so, I suggest you call (Call toll-free at 877-255-5923) an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs Bank. Chat is not effective in these matters. Immediately ask for a supervisor. Politely express your frustration, explain that the fine print has no limitation as to time zone and you feel you’re justified in asking them to honor their promotion. Then let’s see what the supervisor offers and let me know how it goes.
