How can I remove icons from my iPhone mail list?

Same icons are in messages. Annoying and unnecessary.

I forgot to thank the people who gave us explicit instructions on how to Stop the icons. Really appreciate it!

It's intrusive. Not only are they helping themselves to our photos by identifying and categorizing them, but they're doing it with personal email now too.

This is a very frustrating new feature that I would like to remove. Additionally, the colors and lines all over the calendar app are awful and distracting, and I’m switching over to Google Calendar.
