iPad Air 2 shuts off on its own even when it is fully charged

My iPad shuts off even when fully charged. YouTube videos suggest I download 3rd party software to fix it. Doesn't Apple have a solution for us customers? I am trying to figure out why my iPad Air 2 shuts off on its own even when it is FULLY charged. It shuts down after 15 or 20 seconds up to 2 - 5 minutes. Is this a software thing? Is it a bad battery? I see a lot of people with this problem but I don't see an Apple solution. We have a few iPads but this is the only one doing it...or is it only the 1st one and the others are going to do it as well??...

Hello again ~ Would you post back after you have it looked at and let us know? It adds to our knowledge and we can help others. Also perhaps you can send it in but you may want to actually invest in a newer model iPad….

I am really starting to think this could the issue. There is a decent cell phone repair shop in my city. I will see what it would cost to replace the battery.
