Siri not responding on iPhone 16 Pro Max

I have the same issue on my 16 pro but it’s only since the most recent software update to 18.4.1. I have tried all the fixes and the work for an hour or so then it stops responding again

I'm having the same issue - iPhone 16 Pro Max 512 GB. I've rebooted, retrained Siri, and still having issues. She works sporadically. Let's hope reporting this helps get an update. I never had an issue with my 14 Pro Max and in previous iOS. I imagine it might be an iOS 18 bug...

Yes, I use Siri 100x per day and this has been very annoying. I am carrying around my iphone 12 to do the work since that's still functioning correctly.

It's sad how much Siri still messes up understanding my dictation, even when it's working. With all the AI power now it should work so much better. I think Apple engineers need to completely rebuild it.

Google voice rarely misses but I will never go to that platform.

I’ve come from a 13 pro max that worked perfectly for 2 years and use 50 times a day making phone calls on the road.

I have a similar issue on iPhone 14PM. iOS 18.

I can see Siri active and listening to me when I ask it to say dial a number, but then nothing is executed. And, I'm not going to lie, having to perform several different types of "fixes" is ridiculous at this stage in the phone game.

Yes, Siri on the iOS 18 and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is utter garbage and is destroying my business with my inability to tell Siri commands and have her answer and execute. So far, complete waste of money and may be an issue to move to a different platform. I hate android but is it truly a better solution?

I tried these all. Still not fixed, if I restart it fixes it for the moment then it happens again. When I went and turned off hey siri then on again, pop up for set up came and now it doesn’t recognize my voice or respond at all even to complete the setup!

My iPhone 16 Pro Max is doing this, before I would be able to speak after tapping in the window for any app where I can place a message and Siri would type what I am saying and now this has stopped and I made no changes???

MAJOR safety risk as Siri doesn’t work while driving. I tried again this morning and Siri did not work and I have to pick the phone up and access Contacts. Will Apple Pay our tickets for handling a phone while driving?

Obviously, I'm not the only one with the VERY SAME ANNOYING SIRI PROBLEM!!! Sometimes, I regret that I bought the new iPhone 16 PRO MAX. It should work immaculately for the shy £1600!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm an Apple supporter( investor as I like joking) I spent an obscene amount of money on Apple products over the years. This is the first time I feel I was played by the company! It's that bad!!!

you never ever remove posts from your customers solely because they point out the obvious—that people have problems with the newest iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I am one of them! No need to hide, no need to delete posts!!!

I am still having problems with Siri on my 16 pro max. Only way to get it to work is turning phone off and then on. This is a temporary fix as it disconnects soon thereafter. I have tried all of the suggestions to no avail. HELP

This worked perfectly even though I don’t understand why it doesn’t work just in general. This is why I never buy a brand new phone or update the iOS until they work out the bugs. Lesson learned again at 55 years old thank you for this fix. it is greatly appreciated.

As of today 10/17/24 I’m still having Siri issues, the 18.0.1 patched fixed the issue temporarily but Siri is back to not listening at all. Siri hears me about 1 out of 8 prompts, it’s ridiculous, Apple get your stuff together!

Updating from yesterday. Did waht support said, worked last evening, Siri was responding with voice. Today, she isn't hearing me. I see the speech thing for Siri when saying "Siri Call xxxx" and then it does nothing. I repeat Siri multiple times, and no bubble at all, just not responding. Did the other suggestions to turn on Content and Privacy under Scren time, restarted, still same issue. I decided I'm not waiting to see if an update fixes it, I've had the phone less than 10 days. Taking it to the Apple Store Sunday for a replacement. Not playing these games.
