Major issues with the NOTES app
When I open the NOTES app, it’s very difficult to access the notes within the app.
It freezes, lags, and worst of all, at some point, the NOTES app crashes.
The phone heats up a lot.
The battery drains excessively (about 25% in less than an hour).
I have over 6,000 notes, but I don’t think that’s the issue. I have enough space on the phone.

Same, iPhone 14 Pro, 16 Pro arrives tomorrow. Notes app went from being great to a slideshow. Kills my battery life and now is totally unusable. Apple shouldn't be shipping with a regression this large in a core app that's been in the phone since the beginning. Kind of surprised more people aren't experiencing this. I too have a lot of notes, about 3,500 but it worked great on iOS 17 earlier this week. I also have a few shared notes, so maybe something there? Not sure, but they need to fix it fast.

before I updated my phone was buttery smooth and my battery health is 96% always do my best to preserve it!
I only have around 200 notes but i use it daily for work and after the updating to ios 18 it has become unusable, stutters and freezes every 5 seconds.
My job has become a lot harder now and everything takea longer because of the app. I wonder is its the same with the iphone 16 and 16 pro, anyone?
