I don’t understand that move Favorites to the middle of nowhere in Photos App. I use it every time when I open App. Now I need to scroll and find it. How bad was that decision by Apple Developers’ Team?

It’s actually albums that can be put in folders. An album is where you put photos to find them more easily. Then if you have many albums they can be further placed on folders if you chose.
You will find it enlightening to read the rest of the 5 pages of the thread you just added to.
I can’t either ..apparently I have to create a separate album with favorites photos to be able to select them

Apparently favorites, videos, and screenshots are under “pinned collection”. 🙄
I see it in the left menu in your screenshot. It also may be in your pinned collections.
Favorites are in Utilities, right at the top. So if you edit the screen and move utilities to the top of the list Favorites will be the first thing you see when you open Photos.
