Is Vision Pro wearable with cochlear implants?

Cochlear implant processors are worn over the ears, and they also have headpieces that affix to the skull above and behind the ear. Is it possible to wear the Vision Pro with this?

So…let’s keep this thread going…..(1) I am surgery scheduled to get my implant on March 8th. (2) I picked up a VP today at Apple. I had the session at Apple with my hearing as it is - with SSD so this is a concern for me very much. Today I had a lot of fun exploring it.

First observation is that the 2-piece, over-the-head strap seems thinner and I think it will clear the implant’s receiver …. But I will need to explore this a bit further with my surgical team to see if they can mark down what the exact placement of the receiver will be.

It was fun to use today….but the next set of tests will be to explore the audio. I’m quite a bit reduced in my left ear - although the Phonak helps with that and 100% done in the right - so there is a lot to digest on how signals get from movie audio in and sync’d.

I have 14 days to review this….and I will be guessing, but seriously trying, since I have not had the surgery yet. So, if you are already an SSD, why not just go check it out at Apple and buy one - you have 13 days to check it out and you can return it at no cost and give us some feedback.
