Hi Chizzer
The most common reason for this that a plugin you have installed is preventing Motion from loading the browser on start up.
If you have recently updated Motion, this is one of those times that plugins that have not yet been optimised for the latest version may become unresponsive.
Can I ask about the kind of plugins you have installed?
Do you have any installed from
Fxfactory? - if so, use the the desktop app to deactivate plugins
Pixel Film Studios? - if so, move these installed templates to another location temporarily
Motion Array? - if so, move these installed templates to another location temporarily
Motion VFX? - if so, use the desktop installer to deactivate plugins..
BorisFX? - I'm not sure on this one - contact customer support to see how to deactivate plugins
Other template products from independent vendors you should be able to move to another location temporarily
Generally, one or more of your plugins may be preventing Motion from loading the browser on start up - and removing these templates from the installation location should help you isolate which one it is.
your templates are usually located in finder/movies/motion templates - here you will find the titles, effects, generators and transitions ..but, vendor by vendor - use the desktop app they provide if it is available to deactivate installed products.
Let's see if this helps at first.
