The double click to subscribe top left prompt has not been working for me. Suggestions for a fix or work around would be helpful - Please and Thanks

What happens when you double click exactly?
Remember, you need to double click the physical button on the outside of he iPad in the area it points to, you are not just tapping the screen where it says to double click.
