APPLE TV+ device login error

I'm trying to login on my LG smart Tv in the appleTV+app. It then takes me to a sign in screen with a QR code I scan it it asks me for an apple id password etc. I enter all the details, receive a code, enter it then it asked me to enter code of device I do that. It then tells me I need an iTunes account.....what! So I login to apple id I'm logged in, I log in to iTunes I'm logged in, I then do all the previous thing again and get same message. Even in apple id when I'm logged in I go to devices it tells me I need to go to device and set it up for it to appear.vwhich is what I've been trying to do. I've been paying this account for ages and can't seem to login anywhere for the last 5 months.*** loosing my marbles. HELP PLEASE I BEG YOU.

If you're not signed in with your Apple ID, open the app and go to Settings > Accounts. Then choose a sign in option.
•Sign In On Mobile Device: Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on the TV screen. Then follow the instructions on your mobile device.
•On This TV: Use your TV remote to manually sign in with your Apple ID and complete setup.

If you can't watch content, you might need to get your Apple ID ready for purchases.

Don't have an Apple ID? Learn how to create a new Apple ID. Or if you forgot your Apple ID password, learn how to reset it.


Resetting the Apple TV app can also help with issues that come up if other steps haven't helped:


Resetting the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app removes your personal information and restores the app to its original settings. If you plan to sell or give away your device, or uninstall the app, you might want to reset it first.
1. Open the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose the Reset option.
If you lost or can't access your device but are still signed in to the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app, remove the device from your Apple ID device list.
