What do I do if my screen is completely black but I can still talk to siri and hear from it

I have an Iphone 12 and I woke up to it on the charger, fully charged, but the screen would not turn on. I can still answer calls if I touch the screen in the right place, but there is no light coming from it. I was not able to restart it because I cannot see the screen.

Depends on what the problem is. There can be anything from just the connector damaged or even temporary. I've seen a screen go black just based on it being too hot and it wouldn't recover unless it cooled down and the iPhone was restarted when cool.
