iPhone XR screen

I went to sleep last night and my screen was perfectly fine and I woke up and it was in the same spot but the screen doesn’t work, I press the power button to turn it on and all it shows is a grey screen, it won’t let me power it off or answer calls. I receive calls and notifications and Siri works but I cannot see the screen whatsoever nor will it let me tap anything. How do I fix this issue?

Try a "forced" restart of your XR, using these instructions:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

If the issue persists, it might be a hardware (battery? screen? other internal component?) failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.

I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
