music app and search view

In iTunes, when doing searches, you could get a list view of all search results. In the Music app you get a honeycomb view, which shows a lot less metadata and also less tracks.

Is there a way to turn the list view back on?

This question was asked before, and the person said to go to view and show filter field. This option is grayed out on my view list. Is there another way?

If the Show Filter Field is greyed out it might be because you have entered something in the search field. Make sure there is nothing in the search field then select your Library in the Sidebar and see if Show Filter Field is selectable.

I am asking about when I search for a song, or a word in titles. I get this big spread out page of cover art and names. Not a list. So I can't get the search to be a list, the view selection is grayed out. Yes, my songs are in a list. Yes, my playlists I switch over to a plain list. Instead of the pretty pictures. I am not computer savy, so you really need to explain exactly what you want me to try.
