Shouldn't there be a permanent way to KEEP the Show Filter Field up in the right hand corner in the music app? It is a real hassle to have to keep going to VIEW and then clicking on it then the minute you go a a playlist or anything else, it vanishes and you have to pull it down again. Can APPLE make this a permanent feature please.

But, of course, there isn't anymore, for absolutely unfathomable reasons.

I see you would like to be able to have the Show Filter Field visible at all times rather than having to enable it via the View menu every time the Music app is launched.
At this time, that is not an option but you can leave feedback for Apple about that here:

Totally agree. Maybe if enough people request it the Apple gods will grace us and put it back permanently! There is no reason not to!
