Can I remotely turn off iMessage on a single device?

I have my own MacBook/iPhone. I had a company-issued MacBook Air as well and activated iMessage on that device so that I would not miss messages from family/friends. I no longer work for that company, but I know they like to monitor old employee accounts. Can I remotely turn off iMessage on that device? I've looked on Forums but can't quite answer this specific question.

Thanks in advance!

You can't remotely turn off Messages. You can change your Apple ID password, which should make Messages unusable.

 Apple ID Password Change.   -
