Was playing video and attempted to shut off audio on assisstive device screen - whole ipad has locked up and doesn't respond to any command - locked. Tried shutting down but won't respond.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

try holding down the home button and power button at the same time until you see the apple logo it should reboot
