Why haven’t I received the iOS 13 update on my 8 plus yet?

My children have the iOS 13 update on their 7 and iPhone X. Do you mean the update just hasn’t been released to the iPhone 8?
No. The only thing that has been released so far is beta.
If you mean how you have to go online and opt to install the update that’s not how my kids received their update. It just came to their phones automatically.
