So I got locked out of my old iPad mini today, and I kept trying to unlock it. It was under my mom’s Apple ID, but when it still didn’t work, my mom and I looked into it and apparently it isn’t connected to one when it IS. But from what I’m getting when I’m trying to use the one that was connected to the iPad, it shows that it apparently doesn’t exist

i plan on trying to go to the Apple store whenever I can however, but for the meantime, any advice?

For the correct account the iPad will show in the Find iPhone section of it on http://www.icloud.com . If she can't remember the id has she tried : If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support ?

An Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do go to one) will only potentially be able to help if she bought the iPad new (i.e. it’s not second-hand), and have proof of ownership e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
