I've tried signing in to the correct channel I want to upload to before using the iMovie-YouTube uploader, but the upload video arrives in a different channel.
An old thread suggests there is no way to specify which channel you want to publish to but is this still the case? ISTR a recent new version of iMovie saying it had fixed the YouTube upload issues. But perhaps not this one!

I have not tried the iMovie upload-to-You Tube procedure myself, so not able to answer your question.
The most reliable way to upload to You Tube is to share out the movie to your desktop, and from there drag it into You Tube's upload window. You Tube might have some procedure for directing or moving the movie to the correct channel. The Help feature on its website may guide you there.
