I'm seeing strange graphical artifacts (black boxes and distortions) across all apps and even on the desktop Screen of my M2 Pro Mac. The issue persists across multiple displays and continues after restarts and shutdowns. I have run the Apple Hardware Diagnostic, but it shows no problems.

Did you Reset Fonts as leroydouglas suggested?
Please provide a photo of this happening in an Apple app like Mail, Notes, Messages, Pages.
The standard way to separate display issues from system issues, is capture a screenshot, then view the screenshot at a different size and scroll around to see whether the defects are in the screenshot or in the screen itself.
But I can't imagine failure of the display that would produce boxes like that,
I did Reset the Fonts, but it did not fix the issues. The issue appears in Notes, messages, and mail as well. The picture I uploaded is from Mail.

Yes, the issue is not with the display itself. I can see the problem in the extended display, even if I use an HDMI cable or screen mirroring.
