How do I redownload an app after leaving family share without deleting it?

I’ve used procreate on my iPad for years and the family sharing group was recently dissolved, and I lost access to the app. Normally I would go to the App Store and redownload it immediately as I am only locked out and it is still on my Home Screen. However this is where things get tricky- I was one recent update behind when I was disconnected from the app, and now in the App Store there is no option form me to buy it as the purchase button is replaced by the update one that would normally appear if I were still able to use it. Upon pressing the button it tells me it cannot update it (obviously, since I no longer own the app) but there is no other way to repurchase it because the button is gone. Is there any other way to regain the app without first deleting it?

some of my files are backed but I did not expect to be cut off without being able to regain it on after so I didn’t salvage everything. Any ideas?
