iTunes Match subscription stopped working

My iTunes Match subscription stopped working some days ago, maybe after the Mac OS 15.3 update. I already tried the usual troubleshooting steps that worked in the past (turn off sync, then on again). All songs that I added in the past week or so have the cloud status of "waiting" and are not uploaded to the cloud library. I have tried "update cloud library" a couple of times and it always stops with the message “Genius results can’t be uploaded right now. A secure network connection was terminated unexpectedly". I have under 100 K songs in my library. I have the source library on an external SSD which was never a problem in the past.

Ensure your Internet connection is stable. A fluctuating or low-quality connection could cause issues with uploading tracks. Try switching between Wi-Fi and Ethernet (if applicable) or restarting your router.

There is definitely something wrong with Apple Music and iTunes Match at the moment. I remembered that I still have an old Macbook with iTunes. It uploads new music into my cloud library just fine while Apple Music under Sequoia still throws error messages. Then I have tried a computer with Big Sur. It does not even let me log into my Apple account in Music. It accepts my credentials but nothing happens.
