Save for Future Events 18.1.1 Calendar app

I have many repeating events. I often journal unique Notes pertaining to each day of the event.

Before 18.1: When I added something to Notes for a particular day and selected Save for This Event Only, if I then made any additional edits to the Notes (or anything) for that day I would not be asked if I wanted to Save for Future Events.

After 18.1: I have to specify which Save to make every single time I make a change to a repeating event. This is an extra step I would prefer not to have to take several times throughout each day. I pet sit, sometimes for a month at a time, and I would also prefer not to have to enter each day of each job individually just to work around this new "feature."

The type of Save selected by a user for each day in a repeating event should be one and done.
