FCP (ver 10.6.8) + Pixel Film Studio (Motion) - Triangle Exclamation Point Error

I've got an old MacBook Pro from 2015 running macOS Monterey & Final Cut Pro version 10.6.8. A few years ago I bought something called FCPX Auto Tracker 2.2 (made by Pixel Film Studios)- which allows the user to use tracking features in FCP (example - if you want text to follow the motion of a moving object).

At the moment I'm seeing a triangle with exclamation point when attempting to use the above mentioned tracker. I vaguely recall this is just an issue with directories - at least that's what I remember when I'd use Motion. Other than this I don't know what else to check or do for further troubleshooting.

Any ideas?

Hi

The effect icon with yellow triangle means the FCP can not run an effect, of which object trackers are included. If you see this, it means that FCP can't run it. Generally it is because the product needs to be updated in order to run the effect, or that your FCP version does not support it, or both.
