Shortcuts app: Select photos locks up process

I have a shortcut in Apple's shortcuts app that stops on the action "Select photos".

I can see a white line appears along the top edge of my device screen. The execution is still happening, but it's waiting for a response to a prompt it's failed to give me.

Anyone have any ides on this?

Photos app keyboard shortcuts not working, same for you? Since 13.1.1, and including 13.1.2, the keyboard shortcuts are not working in the Photos app. If I hold down the Command Key there is no summary of shortcuts as in other apps. And there shortcuts I know from memory don’t work. It’a the same on my wife’s iPad Pro, both with the Apple Folio. The only keys that work in the Photos app are the left and right arrow keys. I can’t find anyone else with this issue via google. Is it affecting anyone else?

I can not close photos there is a X in red dot stopping me from closing I can use the amber dot ok also the green dot I can not close photos there is a X in the red dot, on the bottom bar there is a dot under photos I have right clicked on quit but no success

scroll bar disappears in photos library The scroll bar at the right in iCloud Photos library appears for a short time if I resize the window but cannot be activated or used otherwise. This is a significant problem when going to the older sections of my photo library. Trackpad is semi-useful, as you have to keep swiping , and after a while the library gets confused and simply stops. This is a basic feature that no one should have a problem with. Doesn't Apple use a function checklist before releasing an update? The fact that users have to point out a failing of this nature does not reflect well on the execution or monitoring of code mods. And its not the first case of simple things going wrong. Its just plain annoying.
