Will Apple Store hold Apple Vision Pro?

I managed to score a VisionPro for in store pickup on Feb 2nd. Now, due to a work trip, I can't go to the store until (best case) the 7th, and worse case not until the 10th. So, I have two questions:

  1. Will they hold it for me, or will they wait a few days and return it to stock (and issue a refund)?
  2. My size was Small, small and 21W. What if that's off? Can they refit in the store or will I have to order and wait for a new unit?

I ordered mine on Jan 19th at 5:17 am (when I finally got through) and my order status shows delivery Feb 13-16. I called Apple support to ask why the Feb2nd date is pushed back and they said it was a first come first served order process! Did Apple actually sell all Feb 2nd deliveries in 17 minutes? I understood there to be between 60k-80k units available. Very disappointing as I am leaving the country on the Feb 6th and wanted these in hand before that date. They could not tell me if my Apple store would have them on the 2nd if I wanted to purchase them there!

What is an Apple fan to do?
