Apple Warranty iPad Pro
I have question regarding the apple 1 year warranty. My friend had an experience where he brought in his macbook pro and had problems with it. His macbook was discontinued and they didn't have his model in stock anymore, so they gave him the new year model. So for my experience, they decided to swap my iPad Pro 2nd Gen that had problems but they told me they don't have it in stock. I told her about my friend's experience and she said that only happens when the product is discontinued. So she ordered me one and will contact me when it comes in. When I got home, I did some research online and saw that they are discontinued. So should they have given me the next model due to them not having it in stock and it being disconnected? Is the one she ordered a refurbished iPad and not a replacement unit? I know they have refurbished models for sale. But for apple warranty, they give you a "replacement model" Just wondering if that was suppose to happen. Anyone have a similar situation?
