Video playback issue with Roxio Easy VHS to DVD movies

I am having a problem with the majority of movies that I have transferred from VHS to a Macbook Air hard drive. I'm using Roxio Easy VHS to DVD v4.2 and MacOS Monterrey 12.7.1. The first 10 movies or so, worked with no playback issues in either QT, iMovie or any other program. Over the next 40 or so movies, only 1 or 2 work with no issue. Each movie that doesn't work provides the same error (see below). I've even tried opening them on different Mac's and on PC's. None of the settings or configurations have been changed since we started on this project. Anyone out there have experience with this kind of error that can tell me how to get past this without having to re-record them? If I have to do that, I will, but I was hoping that someone might know how to correct this and prevent it from happening to the 10 or so movies that I have left to do. Thank you very much in advance.
