Dark screen outdoors iPhone 14 pro

Tried all sorts of settings but cannot remove dark screen when taking outdoor pics. As if a dark film has been put across screen.

im using phone fir detailed macro work and landscape, and I find I have to guess point and shoot. This is quite useless as I need to focus on detail.

any help removing the dark screen is appreciated.

kind regards

If I understand your problem correctly, you are having difficulties seeing your subject on the screen when photographing outside in bright ambient light.

Try going to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and switching on Auto-Brightness.

Otherwise, go to Settings > Display & Brightness and adjust the slider to increase the screen brightness. Your iPhone 14 Pro can achieve a very high brightness that should be adequate even in the brightest sunlight.
