I can't see the screen, in bright outdoor light, to see what I'm taking a picture of. HELP!

I don't need to change the camera settings, or adjust the photos the phone takes. I need to be able to SEE the screen so I know what I'm taking a photo OF - there is so much glare on the screen! How do you do it? Thanks, Wendy
