Uploading to iCloud paused - imessages

My wife’s phone shows uploading to iCloud all the time. She had an iPhone 12 Pro previous and it was showing this message. She recently upgraded to a 14 pro max and I had hoped it would resolve. Nope.

I’ve tried the following:

  1. Restarting
  2. Turning off iMessages in icloud and then turning back on
  3. turning off iMessages and logging out of icloud and then logging back in and tuning on imessages
  4. turning off iMessage, logging out iCloud, and restarting phone and then logging back in and turning on imessages
  5. We are sharing a family plan for iCloud storage and have 50 gigs of free space so its not data.

Nothing works. this is ridiculous. There is clearly a problem in which some accounts get stuck and nothing works. Apple get off your butts and fix this.

Troubleshooting and About iMessages:

iMessages is an app for the app messaging service provided to you by your Cellular Provider. So, it is asking you to set this up. Skip it for now, if you are in certain of this. Not everyone has the service if messaging, for note.

A. Make Sure this is Set Up Correctly:

Go Here: Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Enable Messages in ScreenTime:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Screen Time
  3. Tap: Allowed Apps
  4. Tap: Messages (So it is in "ALLOWED APPS")

C. If you can’t Turn On or Sign In to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
