How to enable Touch ID?

it won’t even allow me to re-add my finger print.

DSO1 ~ Does your iPhone 6s still have its original 6½ year-old battery?

What's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health

...And is there an "Important Battery Message" there? [Ref: Apple]
