Update no internet connection
Trying to pair an Apple Watch to an IPhone 11- I get a notification that an update to watch app is required then it indicates I have no internet connection on my phone. How do you fix this

This link is to verify an update occurred. I can’t even pair the new watch since it gets stuck looking for an update then error message appears saying no internet connection. How do I check my internet connection on a watch that isn’t connected to my phone and is in start up factory mode?
