Remove Apple ID from iPhone

I added an existing App account to a new phone and now it’s combined with other devices. Trying to reset to and remove but it’s not working

That is what iCloud is supposed to do. It tries to match all the content on one device to any other devices signed in with that Apple ID.


What you do next has multiple solutions depending up what exactly you wish to do. You can simply sign in with a different account:


Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac --> https://support.apple.com/HT208242


If another Apple ID is signed in you may need to enter the password for that ID to sign out of that ID first.

You can entirely erase the iPhone and make it as if new:

Alternatively, if you wish to use the same Apple ID on this phone but do not want iCloud to sync content:
