iTunes ringtone purchase won’t download

I purchased a text tone and it never downloaded but when I try to complete the process again it says I’ve already purchased it and prompts me to re-download the tone but then never does. It’s not located in my purchases or in my downloads. Help please

When this issue occurs, are you using your cellular network, Wi-Fi or both? If you're unable to download your ringtone, you can try the following steps below:


  1. Navigate to Settings > [your name] > Media & Purchases. Tap on that option and sign out. (This step will remove purchases that you've downloaded for offline use.
  2. Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
  3. After the iPhone restarts, sign back in and test to see if this specific issue continues to occur.
