Apple isn't here. We're just users like yourself. We're fairly well versed in Apple policy. Your comment is indeed disrespectful whether or not you intended it to be. Apple has policies. It's not that they're "too good to help an individual out for school", it's that they're too big to be able to accommodate the deluge of requests if they did. This is the reason I suggested a local charity. They are much better equipped to assist you with this, though you may indeed end up with a Windows or ChromeOS device. Apple products are great, but there is nothing they do that is so special that a Windows device can't (ChromeOS, yeah, it's not as efficient).
