Sometimes when my slideshows dissolve from a black slide to an image, a green flash appears shortly before the image appears. Is that familiar to anyone? Usually it goes away eventually, but I find it worrisome. Anyone know what that is, and how to avoid it?
Never heard of this issue before.
Try these two tests
1 - open a new blank presentation with only two slides, one black one with a PNG or JPEG image, does this green flash appear?
2 - Create a new user account and play the problem presentation:
