“Hey Siri” doesn’t give a voice feedback, but the screen turns on and Siri listens

”Hey Siri” doesn’t give a voice feedback. But Siri turns on, the screen turns on and listens. The setting on Siri & Search ->Siri Responses is set to “Always”.


Earlier it used to give responses like “Uh-Huh” or “Yes”. Not nothing.

That’s true. However, Siri has become more streamlined, as I said. I never noticed, because I always said “Hey Siri, what time is it?”, so I didn’t notice the change until someone pointed it out.


Alexa has always worked that way; “Alexa, set a 15 minute timer”.
