unlock disabled iphone

I can't open my locked (old) iphone 6, it won't accept my passcode, and is now disabled, can I unlock it from itunes? phone says connect to itunes but nothing happens when I connect it.

Actually, that’s covered in the link kb posted.


UPDATE: While it is covered, it isn’t as explicit as you stated it, so you were right to add that. It just says use “Finder or iTunes” in the link, probably because soon it would have to say “Catalina or Big Sur”.
