my iphone is disabled. im trying to coonect to itnues

I forgot my passcode to my old phone, i just got it fixed. so it says Iphone is disabled, connect to Itunes, but it wont let connect to the computer. What can i do

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Why won't it connect? Wrong cable? Error message? Not recognized?
