An annoying Video Play Control keeps popping up

Annoying Video Play Control

Not too long ago, I started seeing a Video Play Control on my iMac desktop(Ventura 13.7.1) automatically. I've never had to use it. It's rather annoying now. But I don't know where it came from, or how to learn more about it.

I checked the Activity app to see if I could identify it, but I didn't see anything related. I don't know how to find it in the Terminal. Does anyone know what this is, or how to make it not come up automatically? The header name changes to the name of the active program. Right now it says Safari (of course).

Here it is, but it is actually smaller than I see here:

Any help is appreciated.

Thanx, BC

It appears when a media file (video or audio) is being previewed in Finder using Quick Look.

This usually happens if:

>> You pressed Spacebar on a video/audio file in Finder, or

>> You used media keys (play/pause, forward, rewind) while a Finder preview was active.
