Safari unable to open certain websites, while Google and Firefox work fine

safari. unable to open many x’s , no prob wit google firefox. it screws up some my things that want to use it. does it lots

You may want to check the websites "help" or "support" page(s) for their preferred browsers.

If the site's preferred bowsers include Safari ... they will likely welcome feedback in order to set things right.


ie: Not all webmasters have the skills, (or if they do, perhaps the paid-time in their workload is missing) to make the website perform on all available browsers. Sadly, (if they bother to take the time to discover) lots of popular websites only cater to the browsers most preferred by their particular viewers, (or else browsers likely chosen by the webmaster). Some website-owners may also be operating in competition with Apple, and particularly favoring browsers other than Safari.

If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you're using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), check your VPN settings. If you have a VPN turned on, some apps or websites might block content from loading.
