there is a sudden shift up in black level when zooming in on a still photograph using the transform tool's scale function.

I am wondering if I tried this zoom move using the Ken Burns Effect instead of adjusting setting in the inspector would help, although something tells me the KBE uses those same inspector based settings..
How are you determining that? Could you post some screenshots?
Does this happen with one specific image or all images?
Not all images, but it seems to happen on those I rotate as well as zoom. I'll send screen shots asap.
I realize these shots are not helpful, because the level change is slight, but my client and I have both noticed it.

Can you see what I am talking about with the exterior shot of the building? start a few seconds earlier and let it play.
I apologize. the start time is really 1:29:00. it is practically invisible from vimeo's compression. useless.
Let's let this go. I did some renderings of this section, and the anomaly seems to only happen inside FCP, not when rendered.
