Is there any problem from updating MacOS from 13.6 to 26.2?

I'm using MacBook Air M1 since October 27, 2024. I never updated my MacOS version. Now, I'm using MacOS 13.5 but I want to install DaVinci in my Mac and it requires minimum MacOS 14.5. But now the updated version of MacOS is 26.2. Will it be any problem if I jump from MacOS 13.6 to 26.2 without updating the middle ones (Like 14 to 16 or more)?

Do you recommend to update from 13.6 to 26.2?

You won't miss any interim update/upgrade content when changing from Ventura (13.*) to Tahoe 26.2. As already suggested, be certain to have a last Time Machine backup of Ventura before commencing any upgrade.

I suggest you visit Apple's macOS Tahoe web page to verify that you are ready to accept the Liquid Glass visual appearance redesign of the operating system BEFORE you perform the update. Also, consider that some third-party applications presently installed on Ventura may need updating for Tahoe compatibility.
