How to disable sharing services that pose a security risk on Mac?

I did an EtreCkeck that told me

Sharing enabled - This computer has sharing services enabled that could be a security risk.

How can I eliminate that?

It looks like you are running a very old macOS version.

For the older macOS versions go to > Apple > System Preferences > Sharing.

Then uncheck the File Sharing box if you are not using File Sharing.

Also to provide more detailed information about the Mac in question. Post back here with your Report, as per > How to use the Add Text Feature When Post… - Apple Community

Thank you for the kind reply including graphics. The translations are indeed sometimes surprising. In this case, 'Sharing' would normally be translated into 'Teilen' or 'Sich teilen', but here it came as 'Freigeben', something like 'Liberating'.

And yes, I must use an old OS 10.13.6 because on my MacPro mid-2010 that's the highest possible OS. Or does someone here know of a reliable hack for going beyond ?
