Sites still know my location despite using a VPN

I am using a VPN, but sites still know where I am. How do I fix this?

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.7

FWIW, Netflix has a mechanism in place that when using a VPN you CANNOT access their site at all. even if your VPN location is set to the country you are actually in.

I am using Nord and it was not free.

The Netflix is only an issue in my off hours. You might be surprised how little there is to do at night in rural India.
