Turning off Gaming Controller Shortcut feature?

Is there a way to turn off the Controller Shortcut 'feature' after the iOS 26 update? I used to use my phone for a decent bit of Gamepass gaming but in the latest update Apple has, for me, really damaged the experience using a gaming controller. The new feature hijacks the Home button on every single gaming controller making the home button unusable in its default capacity. I feel aggravated by the design choice and the lack of an option to turn it off. Has anyone found a way to turn this feature off entirely?
