Pages update fails to install from App Store

Pages doesn't update in Tahoe 26.1. When I try updating it from AppStore, after showing download progress to 306MB, it fails installing with the message: 'Unable to download app. “Pages" could not be installed. Please try again later.'

If you already have Pages v14.4 installed on Tahoe 26.1, then that is the last version of Pages that is presently available

Yoou should be signed into the App Store with the same Apple ID associated with your Tahoe 26.1 installation. If you have an older version of Pages installed (and backed up to Time Machine), then you should remove it, empty the Trash, reboot, and then try downloading Pages v14.4 from the Mac App Store again.
